| Rowan International secures its Network with AcorroWhen the new IT manager recently took charge at Rowan International he instigated a thorough audit of the existing IT and Voice Communications Infrastructure. Acorro were invited to make recommendations for taking the organisation forward. These included implementing a data security firewall to prevent unauthorised access to the network and also new anti-virus suite for infection protection. Aside from the security benefits of the new firewall it was now very easy for senior staff to access the network remotely via a secure VPN to work and of course pick up there emails from anywhere. In addition Acorro recommended a consolidated backup strategy for both the Windows and SQL environments. |
